The Group charges an annual fee for youth membership. This is our most important fund raising source. Part of the fee is paid to Scouts SA as the annual membership of the organisation. The remaining amount is used to fund our activities, the facilities and equipment, training of adult leaders, and other costs of running the Group.
The 2026 fees are R 2250 per meerkat, cub or scout with a reduced fee of R 2100 for meerkats, cubs or scouts who are siblings. In order to fund essential maintenance of large or long-term projects such as roof replacement, we suggest a voluntary donation of R500 extra.
