The Swift Cave
This past year has been eventful for Swifts. Starting in term 2 with Jack stepping down and myself taking his place; losing 3 patrol members and gaining a few as well, some patrol events such as my community service and camp and had a whole lot of fun along the way. We achieved some consistency in attendance and meetings, learned new skills and got new badges. Swifts never had it easy but they always did their best and that’s all I could ever ask from them. I look forward to seeing what Swifts will do in the new year with a new Patrol leader.
Swift’s Patrol Camp
We had a small patrol camp on the 10th in Glenncairn with myself, Malaika, Sam and Axel. It was a 3 day camp that focused on advancement and fun. We had a sandcastle building competition at the beach and made plaster casts of animal footprints and had lots of fun. Everyone enjoyed themselves and learnt something new and I call that a success.
