The Eagle’s Nest
The Eagles have flown very high above the clouds of exams, burnt apple pies and the disappearance of some MSG from the bottle on our noticeboard. From what I have been told we all survived the tough exam time and only dropped a few members due to unmentioned AP exams but overall kept a smashing attendance level.

Our prosperous APL Laura has been cooking quite a large amount, running her cooks meal and her First Class meal as well as providing free charcoal to the scout hall from the delightfully dissected apple pie served at the latter occasion. Luckily she managed to patent her new version of clean energy before Elon bought her out, her invention providing needed funds for the STA kit. In the spirit of all the cooking Holly also ran her Springbok banquet.
Laura is not the only member forging ahead with discoveries as Matthew unearthed a fizzer (most likely in owned by Baden at some point) from our spiffing STA kit. The fizzer is now one of our patrol mascots as well as the Masking Tape Eagle Who Tragically Lost its Wing ™ created by Alex. Apart from the fizzer discovery Matthew has also been doing a lovely job in keeping our Pocket Sized Logbook ™ up to date.
The aforementioned STA kit, despite its interesting secret snacks, has been dutifully maintained and supplied by Saskia. Unfortunately the useful item of duct tape from the STA box was recently abused when used to ‘tie’ a cup to our catapult resulting in the wastage of about a kilometre of tape.
Eagles has also managed to claim our former member Ov back from Boks and his place will be happily resumed on the Eagles Patrol Family Tree ™. With Oliver² back in action we are ready to take on the term and I am excited to see what 2024 has in store for us!
