On Saturday the 22nd of February Joel ran his 1st class hike to the Agtertafelberg MCSA hut. The hike ended on Sunday the 23rd. On the 1st day we hiked from the turn off to the farm that the hut was on and had several breaks along the way. There were 2 drifts along the road to get water from. Once we got to the hut we rested for a while and then took food down to a river to eat lunch after we swam. A bit later we went on a walk to a waterfall. When we were at the waterfall we cut down a hakea that we saw on our way back to the hut. We had pasta for supper but half of it got on the floor and the stove in the process of seth cooking it. The next day we packed up and then started heading back. We went the same way back until about half way left when we took a different route to get back. When we got to the bottom we had to climb over the Du Toit’s Kloof hut gate to get to the road where we started.
