The Eagle’s Nest

This term Eagles really picked up their game. Winning the weekly trophy and attending numerous activities we were very busy. Laura Hoffa ran her Discoverer Hike as well as running a joint patrol advancement day with Goshawks (dubbed Geagles). We had a very successful second patrol meeting at my house where we had a cake decorating competition with ourselves, the winners were Saskia, Oliver Curling and Matthew DE.

They made a coral reef with spongebob while the other patrol made a questionable fish called Berty and an even more questionable spongebob.

Four of our patrol members took part in Gordons shield, Matthew and I being in the HRats Patrol (1st Claremont A), Laura being in the Jackals patrol (1st Claremont B) and Saskia being in the joint patrol with 2nd Hout Bay. A few of the Eagles also made an appearance at my Springbok Camp and lots of them attended my Springbok Community Service. Overall a great term for the Eagles, excited for more to come!
