This term has seem a few changes to patrol membership. Sam was invested; Ben joined and will be invested shortly and unfortunately Matthew M has left scouts to focus on his tennis. He will be missed. In August, Swifts won the weekly trophy twice in a row starting with the Photo Hunt which provided some highly amusing moments.
A productive patrol meeting was held for advancements at Oliver’s house in September. The budget of R300 to update the STA kit was taken advantage of. The Swift patrol camp is planned to take place next term. Oliver has had to change the dates as the initial weekend proposed did not get enough attendance but on the plus side, the weather should be better in November. Malaika’s hike has also been postponed.
