Hello folks!
It’s us again – Rupe and the Snoopers are back in business. We’ve returned from the rocks we crawled under, and we’re snooping more than ever.
Snooper #1 has been feeding us reliable romance news following a certain Pioneer Interest course, and a certain competition (run by the same Claremont TS). While Scout relationships come and go like members of the Swifts patrol, onlookers are convinced that something is going on between the 3rd Pinelands guys and the 1st Claremont girls. Somewhere in the visits to each other’s Gordons campsites, and subsequent visits to Michael’s (resulting in an Eagles member being late for an investiture), the Snoopers and I have high hopes for emerging couples CH and LA.
We also thought it was worth mentioning that both of 1st Claremont’s local aspiring Springboks failed to pass their first aid scenes. Between mistreatments (it was blue food colouring on his lips from cake, not hypothermia) and costly delays (leaving calling the ambulance until last), the Snoopers and I can’t say we were shocked by this outcome. Was it worth the items of clothing ruined by fake blood throughout the course of the programs? Only time will tell (we don’t think it was, though).
Speaking of Springboks, a certain Springbok camp cut short by a certain storm was eventful to say the least. Snooper #2 has gathered all the gossip – the Bokmakieries APL and the youngest Gilham had more than one spat in the rain, and the girls to boys ratio was scarring for Oliver and Oliver. While everybody tried to keep the blood from freezing in their veins by huddling around a campfire, a certain few people decided that lifelong friendships would have to wait so they could sulk in the smoke. Of course, to carry the tone of the camp right through to the end, there was a questionably hygienic Scouts Own in the bathroom to finish off the camp while parents frantically messaged group chats and missed the point of Scout Law number eight.
The Snoopers and I can’t wait to tell you all of the other exciting pieces of information we aren’t supposed to have. We’d just like to leave you with the parting knowledge that somewhere, somehow, there is always somebody listening.
Yours in Snooping,
Rupe
