Hello Beavers!

Our Meerkats made contact with a Colony of Beaver Scouts in England, through friends of our ADS, Otter. Beavers are for children 6-8, a little older than our Meerkats. Meerkats bring joy to Huis Nuweland

Our Meerkats visited Huis Nuweland in Newlands to bring good cheer to the 74 old people. They sang carols and handed our carefully made Christmas ornaments to everyone. Meerkats go hiking in Newlands Forest

Scouts love to go hiking so it is fitting that there is a Hiking Challenge badge for Meerkats in the Scoutcraft theme. On 19 February, our nearly full Den of Meerkats gathered at the base of Newlands forest with their leaders, parents, siblings and a dog and went hiking, 4km up, along and down. We [read more]
