There is inevitably lost property on annual camp. The tradition has evolved among the scouts that to retrieve the more significant lost property, you have to apologise to it. The apologies this year were worthy of Oscars with some fine performances from willing scouts. The eagerness with which these apologies were made and the fine performances make us wonder if they didn’t lose the items on purpose…
