The Bat’s Cave
Bats had a great year, we managed to win MOSCIP twice. We had an activity filled year with hikes, camps, community service, cooking, advancement days and many patrol evenings. We had a very dedicated patrol throughout the year starting and ending with the same members as well as being I think the overall oldest patrol.
Peter was our APL for the year and managed to complete traveler and most of his discoverer in just one year. Jason was our P3 but has now left but was a valuable member for weekend activities.
Julia our P4 managed our Notice board for the year and managed to make it look spectacular every single time. Emily was our STA box master for the year and managed to deal with the mess that was our STA box but it worked out well.
Oliver took over our Log book for the later part of the year and kept it good when it was there. Paige was our task master and helped with as many of the STA’s as possible. All in all a very good year.

Bats Patrol Evening
17th November
We went to Tim’s house for a nice wholesome lil’ relaxed patrol meeting that was very aesthetic and Pinteresty that wasn’t very structured.
When we arrived Timmy was busy making weird apple crumble muffin thingies that we ate right at the end with ice-cream and coke and debated the amazingness of a coke float which SOME PEOPLE didn’t approve of (*cough cough, Julia).
Everyone had margarita pizza except Tim and Pete who decided to be all thpethel and zesty and had weird avo something or others. Juila had this particular margarita slice that was passed around the table for some reason. Peter found it a good idea to jump into the pool without a warning, but hold your horses, it was all safe as Tim, Pete, and Julia all have Water Awareness.
Once we felt like going inside Tim lectured us on the importance of the layout of a planning document and the importance of a meme front cover so that Daniel doesn’t have an existential crisis. He taught us many valuable (at least to Daniel) life lessons such as to NEVER UNDERLINE HEADINGS!!!!
We then had a cute lil’ therapy session, aka Patrol in Council, where we introduced ourselves as if we were strangers, exchanged our best pickup lines and assigned weekends of Term One to various Discoverers, cuz who needs free time?
