Welcome to “The Goshawks Bush” for Term 3 2023!
This term has been a busy one for the Goshawks Patrol. Patrol members have been working hard on advancement and we have had many awesome patrol events.
Joel ran two patrol community service days which you can read about in this Smoke Signals. That very same weekend, Bridget, along with Laura from Eagles, ran the Geagles™ Advancement Day, which you can also read about in this publication. Ethan also ran his First Class hike, which was the most eventful patrol activity of the term. Occuring in the term 2 holidays, Goshawks now are one up in the “mugging” counter against the other patrols.
The Goshawks Publication Firm® has also been frequently updating the patrol noticeboard. Also fresh off the printing press, “The Gossipping Goshawk” a newspaper publication, can be read on the noticeboard, bringing light to the local drama at the troop. Keep your eyes open for new journalists being featured next term!
Goshawks members also were spotted representing 1st Claremont at different badge courses this term. They also were in the Gordon’s teams that placed 2nd and 9th. Well done guys!
Overall the term has been really good for the patrol, we have had an awesome time at events, weekly meetings and competitions.
