Welcome to “The Goshawks’ Bush” for Term 1 of 2024. This term has been really busy for the troop and our patrol’s focus has been being involved with these activties. Our patrol members have attend many events such as the Kon-Tiki raft prebuilds. While the patrol hasn’t had patrol activities, our members have been hard at work on advancements and interest badges. Multiple scouts earnt Sharpshooter Interest, and attended many badge courses. Avila earnt the most badges with over 5 since the start of the year, even attending Mapping Interest. Bridget and Sam went on LDC courses and have taken another step towards their Travellers. Next term we hope to have some weekend and day activities with the patrol.
For 2023 the patrol was award a Gold Star Award, and were presented wtih our certificate during a meeting. Hopefully we get this year as well. Well done Goshawks, till next term!
